Add Symbols in your Twitter Tweets

Twitter has character limitation of 140 characters and thus to make our tweet stand out we need to be bit creative. Our tweet should be meaningful enough in these 140 characters that it conveys the message easily to the readers but sometimes only the text is not enough.

There are times when we need to add certain symbols in our tweets to make it more interesting and appealing to read. The symbols can range from basic ones like the smileys to the advanced ones like that of a star etc. But twitter doesn’t allow us to enter symbols by default.

Here is an online web service that lets us share our tweets with the symbols we want. The service is called Twitter Symbols and it does contain lots of symbols that one can choose to enter. What you all need to do is just visit this free online service, click the Connect with Twitter button on top right to link your twitter account with this and get started. Linking the account is safe.

After you have linked your twitter account, write the tweet you wish to send below, and then you can choose any symbol that you want from the symbols table below. The table contains many tabs to select from and you can enter any number of symbols. The symbol you are selecting will get highlighted and will get added after you have selected however you can only insert or delete a symbol, you can’t move it.

Once you click the Send button, you tweet will be shared on your account and then you can logout from this service.

So if you like this post, how about tweeting it for others?
