Block Ads in IE using inPrivate Filtering
Microsoft introduced a new feature in its latest browser IE 8 called inPrivate filtering. This feature allows us to ensure that our browsing session remains secure and private.
We can also use this feature to block ads in IE without using external ad block software. Following are the steps to do that.
Steps:
• Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs –> Manage Add-Ons.
• Select inPrivate filtering from the menu on the left.
• Now click on Import on the bottom right of the window. Choose the following file (after downloading, save as to download)
Ads will not show up now.
