So if you are also looking for something like this, check out this default tool in our Windows system called as Task Scheduler. Continue reading “Schedule your Computer to Turn off automatically when on Idle”

I have a Samsung phone and have been very pleased with it, until recently when I upgraded my phone’s firmware to the latest version available and this was when battery problems started happening. I worked with Samsung support team as well but to find out none of their solutions worked. But there are few other solutions that I tried that actually helped me increase the battery life of my phone by 6 hours at least. Continue reading “How to Improve Android or Samsung Battery Life”
Weren’t popups enough annoying in themselves that we have popunders popping as well? If you are reading this I am guessing you might have faced this situation with yourself as well. First for clarity, lets see what are popups and popunders and what is the difference between?
Popups and Popunders are both ad types the sole difference being while popups pops over the current active window you are working upon, whereas the popunders are the ad window that opens under the current window you are working upon. Most of us today are using Android devices and are struggling with fast battery drain. Well, one of the causes for this issue can be Wakelocks in your device or phone.
What is Wakelock?
As the name suggests, wakelock means that there is some kind of lock that is preventing your phone to go to sleep and stay awake.
Why should you bother?
Every phone/device has its own system of saving battery. It starts by dimming the screen and them turning it off completely when idle. What if there are apps in your phone that are still using your battery without your knowledge and not letting your phone to sleep? Your phone will consume a lot of battery and that too very fast. So it all started when I decided to upgrade my Windows 8 laptop to Windows 10. The installation failed and what I was left with was a laptop that had no OS, since Win 8 was removed and Win 10 wasn’t installed.
I decided to do a clean installation of Windows 10 now, but for that I had to delete and format my hard disk which means losing my factory default Windows recovery partition. Well, whatever be the case, using the below freeware you can also create your own dedicated Recovery Partition in Windows 7, 8 or 10 (both 32 and 64 bits).
The software is called as AOMEI OneKey Recovery. Although it is more of a paid software but it also comes in a free version with limited features but enough for us to create a recovery partition. Do note here that by recovery partition I mean, a dedicated drive on your hard disk that can come useful in case of system crash or issues (I don’t mean any bootable CD or USB recovery drive). Being a GoPro Studio user myself for editing videos I know that GoPro takes only mp4 videos as input (Step 1) or avi videos as input at Step 2 of the conversion process. While GoPro records perfect uncompressed videos for editing in the Studio, not all video recorder are the same.
I realized this when I actually created some screen recordings of a tutorial in avi format using a third tool. Since I had put lot of efforts in recording the video I knew re-recording was not possible. Hence I had to convert the avi video into GoPro compatible Cineform mp4 or avi formats.
