Most of us have large collection of songs in our music library and thus having duplicate songs is quite common. Removing the duplicate audio files is a big ask unless there is some tool that can find the mp3 duplicate files by itself and removes it for you.
One such tool that I came across recently is Audio Comparer which is a Windows desktop application for MP3, MP2, MP1, WMA, AIF, WAV, WavPack, FLAC, APE, AAC, and OGG audio files comparison. The program’s main goal is to find duplicate audio files and sort them in whatever way you want. It is a great tool to find the similar audio files and remove them to reclaim the useful memory space.
Audio Comparer compares the audio files like a normal person would do, that is it just does not compare the name and other details but compares them on the basis of their actual audio content. Language is no bar for this application and supports the following languages English, Czech, French, German, Italiano, Macedonian, Russian and Turkish.
The tool supports all the versions of the Windows OS and is a small and fast application. In my opinion, Audio Comparer is worth a try.
