Delay SendTo Menu from Opening Automatically

SendTo menu in the right click Context menu is a great option to send files to the desired place easily but it have so many options to display that whenever we right click to open the menu, it takes some time to open thereby making the system slow to respond.

If similar is the case with you then here is a small registry tweak that can make the SendTo menu to open only when you click the SendTo option and not automatically. You will be able to open the SendTo menu when you click on it and not otherwise.

To be able to do this, you need to set DelaySendToMenuBuild DWORD value data to 1. What this will do is it will delay the SendTo menu from opening automatically unless clicked. Navigate to the following registry location

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer

and set the value of the DelaySendToMenuBuild key to 1 (or create a new key with this name and value, if not already present).
