Don’t you hate it when programs hang or crash? Sometimes we leave some programs such as an IM client or a bandwidth monitor to run constantly in the background. After sometime you will notice that these applications get crashed. You will see the “Not responding” errors which really annoys us.
Most of the times we avoid using such programs which hang or crashes frequently. But sometimes we need to use these applications too. If you do not want to waste time in monitoring and manually restarting the unstable application then here is a solution for you.
A utility known as Restart on Crash is a very easy to use monitoring tool that is a very small and portable. You can specifically add applications that you think crashes, any time. There is no limit to adding applications to this app. You can add any number of programs and you can edit their command line which will be used to restart that application.
Since it is a portable application, you do not have to install it on your system. You just have to download it and run it on your system. To add new applications to monitor just click the “Add” button. Select the programs in the pop-up window and adjust the settings of that program. Click OK to save your adjustments.
As each instance has a different set of arguments after the EXE name, this tool does not allow you to manage multiple instances of the same application. Indeed it is a great utility which save a lot of time of users. You will definitely like it.
