Google Updated Page Rank of Websites Recently

Google is, for sure, making some news recently from Google Panda and +1 button for the websites in Google SERPs to the Page Rank update recently. Yes, it has been confirmed that Google had recently (27th June, to be exact) updated the Page Ranks of the websites across the globe.

Google had been updating the PRs of the important pages once a while. It is not something that Google does very often, however it did it for most of the websites globally. This website TechSalsa.com had also gone under the Google’s PR Update and have seen a rise in the PR from 2 to 3 now (feeling glad to announce this 🙂 ).

In case you don’t know what’s a PR is, PR refers to the Page Rank and shows how important that page is to Google or the web on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 stands as the highest and the best PR for any web page. However, it is bit of surprise for me to see as Google having PR 9 after the update (drop from 10 before the PR update).

If you want to check PR of any website, then either you can install the Google Toolbar which can list out the PRs of all the webpages that you visit automatically or visit any PR checker websites that can check the PRs for you for free.

Getting good PR depends on various factors namely getting backlinks from other websites and keywords apart from the other factors.
