How to Recover Your Hanged or Unresponsive Computer

If you use Windows then you must have come across this situation when your computer becomes hang or unresponsive and does not respond. There are times when we want to run many applications that consume high memory together and then we see that our dear system has turned unresponsive.

The mouse cursor can move but the task manager can’t start. What do you do at this situation? Restart as nothing seems to work. But pressing the Restart button is not a good solution as this can lead to many problems in the computer and needless to say, you could corrupt all your opened files.

The solution to this problem is provided by tool called AntiFreeze. You just need to install this software in the system and press the hotkey combination of these keys ( Ctrl+Alt+Win+Home ) whenever you come across this situation next time.

As soon as you press the hotkey combination of AntiFreeze, AntiFreeze will suspend most of the running programs and will free up your system resources and memory. It will then launch a special type of Task Manager using which you can kill the processes that has locked the computer (as shown).

According to the developers of the AntiFreeze, it will work only if your computer has hanged of following reasons:

•    One or more programs are doing very intensive tasks, they consume so much processor cycles that the system becomes unresponsive

•    Programs are running with a scheduling priority which is so high that they consume all processor resources

•    One or more programs consume so much memory that the swapping file is heavily used, overloading the system

•    Too many programs are running at the same time and they all have to compete for attention from the processor

Note: Please note that the tool would not work if your system is locked due to some hardware problem in which the mouse cursor is locked at the same position.

So let me know your thoughts on this tool.
