To be able to access various online services, we are required to create an online account or a profile with that website. Although creating one is not really tiring and is free too, you never know whether it is possible to delete the account or not. There are many websites that allow you to delete your profile with them easily and the delete instructions are also clear but do you know that most of these websites don’t allow you to delete an account easily thereby accessing your photos and data forever?
While for most websites you just need to visit your settings and click on some Delete button before confirming it again to delete an account, there are others that do not have this delete button. It may be they ask you to email your details to them to delete the account or may be they do not let you delete your account. Whatever be the case it would always be advisable to see if that website lets you delete your account or not before creating one.
So here is a free online service called AccountKiller that not only lets you delete your lot many online accounts by providing the delete instructions of each of them along with the delete link but also lets you know how easy it is to delete an account. The service has three color coding as White, Black and Grey.
While White websites are the easiest to delete an account, Black ones either does not allow or allow with great difficulty. Grey ones lie between the two. Below are the examples of each of them:
White: websites like Facebook, that allows you to simply click on the Delete button to delete your account.
Grey: These are some websites like Steam, Groupon or Spotify which are very unclear of the account removal instructions.
Black: Sites like ebuddy and olx that do not allow deleting your account, for instance, as claimed by ebuddy you can’t delete your account.
To delete an account just find the website and click on its name which will provide the instructions in the next window or would let you know how you can get the account deleted. You can search for any website too (or make use of Blacklist, whitelist buttons) to know how easy it is to delete an account before actually creating one.
