Remove Office 2003, 2007 or 2010 if unable to uninstall from Control Panel

MS Office Suite is the one product that every system has these days. The latest one in the series is the Office 2010 version which I am also running these days. But it can happen that you may wish to other version and remove the one currently installed.

Okay, it is not a big deal to remove the version you are using as it can be done easily from the Control Panel but what if your computer fails to remove it when you were uninstalling from the Add/Remove programs option? Yes it can happen that the Office suite does not get uninstalled from the control panel and mostly in the following situations:

•    The installation process did not complete when you tried to install a new program. Therefore, you are left with a partially installed program. When you try to install the program again, you are unsuccessful.
•    A previously installed program cannot be removed because the installation files are corrupted.
•    If you had problems installing Office 2010 from a previous attempt.

In such a case, you can use the Microsoft Fix it utilities as released by MS for these three versions of the Office. The Fix it wizards are very simple to use as you just need to download the package and follow the on-screen instructions.

The Fix it for Office suites can be downloaded from the MS website, however the links for all the versions are also placed below.
