I have mentioned earlier about removing the bad sectors from the disk but recently one of our readers named Rob, told me about a tool that can repair the bad sectors easily and reliably.

The tool is called HDD Regenerator and the tool is able to detect physical bad sectors on a hard disk drive surface. It can also repair the physical bad sectors (magnetic errors).

Advantages:

1. The tool can work on any file system like FAT or NTFS.

2. Bootable regenerating flash can be created from the program and used to automatically start regenerating process.

3. Bootable regenerating CD allows starting regenerating process under DOS automatically.

The tool has been tested successfully on many computers and yes the data is unaffected.
