Solution to Disk Defragmentation Problem
One of our readers was troubled by the error message that comes up reading “Disk Defragmentation has detected that chkdsk is schedule to run on the volume: (c:).
Please run chkdsk /f.”
The problem occurs when trying to defragment the hard disk and on even trying this command in the safe mode, it doesn’t help.
Solution:
1. In few cases it has been found that running this command in the prompt helps.
Open the command prompt by typing cmd in the Run box. Then type chkdsk /f and press Enter.
2. But for the remaining users, shifting to a third party defragmentation application will surely help. You can make use of the free defrag tools listed here.
If you know any other solution, then share it here.

I have found a very wonderful article talking something about this and you can get more further information: http://ezinearticles.com/?Disk-Defragmentation—Make-Computers-Run-Faster-Soon&id=3162755.
