We all have our social life, don’t we? We like to stay connected with our friends and not only like to read their updates but also chat with them and trust me if you are not using any of these social sites like Facebook or Twitter, you seriously are missing out. Facebook had become like our daily activity and we visit it frequently even in a day. To access FB, we open the FB page on a new tab and keep it refreshing to see any notification.
Here is a web browser called RockMelt that will take away all this overhead from you. RockMelt is more than a browser, also termed as Social Web Browser, it have integrated friends and social bar in the browser itself so that you don’t have to open the web pages specially just to see the updates. As per the dev blog,
RockMelt does more than just navigate Web pages. It makes it easy for you to do the things you do every single day on the Web: share and keep up with your friends, stay up-to-date on news and information, and search.
The Friends bar is on the right where you get to see all of your online buddies so that you can start the instant chat, while the Social bar is on the left for you to see the notifications of sites like Facebook, Twitter and others. You also get to see the FB notifications on top similar to Facebook. The address bar of the browser has Share button, for your easy sharing options. The browser is based on Chromium which is the open source project behind Google’s browser.
The browser also have Quite mode which you can click in case you dont wish to access these features, and simply use the browser simply as a browser only (say when you are studying and don’t want to get annoyed by these notifications).
